He said he lived in London but nothing matched

I met him on Tinder and at first he sounded believable. He said he lived in East London, worked in marketing and was tired of fake people. His profile even looked verified, or at least polished enough that I did not question it immediately.

Then I started asking small things about where he lived and his answers got vague fast. He mixed up neighborhoods that did not make sense together and spoke about the city like someone who had read a summary instead of actually living there. After that he suddenly switched into English only, claiming he was more comfortable that way, even though he had started differently.

The final push came when he tried to move me to an external site to keep chatting. That was enough. The whole identity felt assembled out of borrowed details.
