He said he needed proof I was real and then vanished

We started talking on Snapchat in Leeds and then moved to WhatsApp. He did not seem pushy at first. Actually he came across almost shy, which made the whole thing more convincing. He said he was tired of fake accounts and just wanted to know he was talking to a real person.

He asked for a simple live selfie. Then another from a slightly different angle. Then a short video saying his name. Every time it felt like one more step toward finally meeting, but somehow we never got to the part where anything was actually arranged.

The second I stopped sending more, he disappeared. Blocked everywhere. Later I found one of his profile pictures attached to another name on another account. So the person asking me to prove I was real had probably never been real himself.
