The puppy on TikTok was never for sale

Pet scam · TikTok · United Kingdom

I saw a TikTok account in Birmingham posting adorable puppies and saying they had one left from a small home litter. The videos looked homemade, the comments looked active and the owner answered in a warm, very normal way. That is why I believed it.

She asked for a reservation fee because demand was high and said several families were already interested. The amount was small enough to sound reasonable, especially with all the emotional language about giving the puppy a good home. Right after I paid, there were suddenly more conditions. Insurance fee. Transport fee. Crate fee.

That was when the whole thing cracked. I searched harder and found the puppy photos reused on several other accounts in different cities. There was no dog, just a fake emotional sale built to make people rush.
