He wanted one private photo and turned it into a threat

We had been talking on Meetic in Birmingham for a few days. He seemed patient, calm and not too intense, which is probably why I relaxed. Eventually I sent one photo that was more daring than I normally would have sent, but nothing extreme.

The next day his whole personality changed. He sent me screenshots, told me he had found some of my social accounts and started implying he could send the photo around if I did not keep cooperating. What made it worse was how efficient he sounded, like he had done this before.

It was not just the threat itself. It was the shock of realizing that a person who had sounded gentle the night before had probably been building toward this the whole time.
